A continuously developing port focussed on containerised cargo handling and passenger ferries. With an extensive warehouse and distribution area, it also handles, tankers, cruise, Ro-Ro and bulk vessels. Several liner companies use this port. It is the leading intermodal port in Finland. European route E18 connects Turku to Helsinki. Icebreakers maintain winter traffic.
