Also known as Port of Taipei. Modern port serving the capital Taipei and handling the overspill from Keelung. Handles dry and liquid bulk products and containers. Berthing/unberthing permitted throughout 24 hours.

On the northern tip of Taiwan, just south of the mouth of the Tamshui River estuary facing west onto the Taiwan Strait, from the foot of Kuanyin Mountain, a prominent landmark, 30 km. west of Keelung and 140 km. NNE of Taichung.
