About The Port

The capital and the largest city in Sweden and constitutes the most populated urban area in Scandinavia. The port of Stockholm comprises numerous port areas, including Stadsgarden, Frihamnen, Vartahamnen, Loudden and Hammarbyhamnen. These areas are central ports for goods and passengers travelling to and from Finland, Russia and the Baltic countries.

Sweden's south-central east coast, where Lake Malaren meets the Baltic Sea. The central parts of the city consist of 14 islands that are contiguous with the Stockholm archipelago. The geographical city centre is situated on the water, in Riddarfjarden bay.
