About The Port

The main port of Peru, serving the city of Lima. Callao handles dry and liquid bulk, liquefied gas, containers, passengers, metals and general cargo. The port is jointly operated by APM Terminals and DP World. A commercial shipyard and a naval base are also located within the port.

Protected to seaward by Isla San Lorenzo at the southern end of Bahia de Callao, the port lies in the western suburbs of Lima.
